Week of May 3rd 2010

This week in class we will be finishing up our study of poetry by making poetry books. Pre-AP classes will be writing a book about their 7th grade experiences and general will be writing various forms of poetry such as Haiku, and Limerick.

We will also spend a great deal of time on SOL review, and we will have a last minute "crash course" in test taking skills.

Week of April 26th 2010

We are getting really close to SOL time!!!!! We have finished our unit on propaganda, and the Novel Tuck Everlasting.


This week we will focus on Poetry! Students will read a variety of poetry and work individually and in groups to analyze and discuss different types of poetry.
